Growing Together: Our community Garden

For more than ten years, dedicated members of First Unitarian Church have partnered with Dayspring residents to cultivate more than just a garden—they’ve helped grow a sense of community, purpose, and healing.

Side by side, volunteers and residents’ plant, nurture, and harvest fresh produce while building meaningful relationships rooted in trust and shared experience. The garden serves as a peaceful space for reflection, skill-building, and connection, where individuals on their journey to recovery can engage in hands-on work that restores both the land and the spirit.

Through this ongoing partnership, the garden stands as a living symbol of collaboration, resilience, and growth—reminding us all that with care and support; new life can flourish.
